May 2026 report: News of patients from Napak, and another student completes her time at Acheru
Napak, from Rose's report:
Sarah and Gloria are girls from NAPAK, identified during a community visit in the area. Life wasn't easy for them due to their deformities, it was noticed that most of the time they were unable to go to school because of the distance, and walking was so painful. They really wanted to attend school and made a big effort to attend when they could as they were concerned for their futures. Education was already difficult in the area as there aren't enough schools.
Their families didn't give up on them and took the opportunity to proceed with treatment at Acheru. After surgery one of our partners, Divine Care Ministries, helped them with part of their school fees and they have now been able to enrol as boarders. and they tried for themselves to keep in school, God blessed them with a chance of getting treatment and it didn't end at that.
During a recent visit the girls were found to be doing well. They told us how they are loving it at school because they concentrate well on their studies and they feel good after getting treatment.
